§ 29-42. Restriction on parking in Route 3 lot.

No person shall park a vehicle or trailer in the Route 3 parking lot, north of the intersection with Route 25, for any period of time in excess of 72 hours, unless granted special written permission by the chief of police or his designee. Vehicles and trailers in violation of this section shall be towed at the direction of any authorized police officer. Owners of property towed shall be required to pay all towing and storage fees prior to receipt of their property. Vehicles and trailers not reclaimed within 30 days shall be sold in accordance with the laws of the state relative to the sale of property to recover storage charges.
