§ 32-444. Owners required to connect to water main if available.

The owners of all improved properties situated within the town and abutting on any street, alley or right-of-way in which there is located a town water main, are hereby required at their expense to install and maintain a service connection from the water main to improved buildings in accordance with the provisions of this article and within 90 days after official notice to do so. A public water main shall be deemed available if an improved building is within 100 feet of a water main as measured from the closest part of any structure which contains plumbing along or across the shortest available easement to the centerline of the water main.
